No big surprises last night. I think we all knew who was getting voted out.
Rob looked surprisingly weak after the immunity challenge. He is really starting
to get nervous and paranoid about his spot in the tribe it seems. Grant would
be smart to try to sway the two women to vote with him and take Rob out.

They need to bring back the person from redemption island really soon. It pretty much has to happen right now or it will ruin the game.

Basically, it's a bunch of losers who should be gone. At least one will be coming back. There is no way that person should be brought in and make the final with one immunity win. Rob and his crew have played a perfect game so far but whoever comes back from the island will win at the end if they make it. I'll be mad if they don't have to win at least 3 immunities in order to get to the finals.

last night's episode was all about rob. his sensitivity and will to win were both pinpointed. if matt could make the final it'd be a tough call for who deserves to win. i get that matt really doesn't "belong" because he couldn't outwit, but he certainly could outplay and outlast should he make it to the final. rob has done all 3 but he had a fairly easy ride down the stretch because no one decided to go against him...except matt, who was squelched easily.

poor natalie. i didn't know she was that young. btw, she'll be 20 tomorrow.

I wish you were one of the producers of Love Cruise cause that's exactly what those idiots did...and it cost me the game.

Grant doesn't know that Rob has an idol, neither does Phillip. They know that Rob has been hiding all the clues, but they haven't shown anything to indicate that they know that Rob has it already.

Wow ok, that changes things in my mind. For some reason I was thinking Grant knew about the idol. Rob really is in the driver seat, more than I even realized.

Grant may suspect that Rob has it but he doesn't care as long as Rob doesn't come after Grant.

Ultimately, I think that Rob wants Grant and Philip with him at the end. Grant is the best chance to win an immunity against the very dangerous and athletic person who makes it back from redemption island and Philip is nuts. At this point, I think Grant will be viewed as Rob's follower and people won't give him the money.

It really depends on what point of the game the loser returns. If the loser returns soon and is already eliminated by the time they are down to 4-5 people I bet Rob targets Grant because Grant is his biggest competitor in the final immunity challenge. Rob has to believe that when it gets down to 4 people he absolutely has to win the last IC or else he is gone and I'm sure he would rather go up against the two girls and Phillip as opposed to Grant.

if he got rid of grant, though, he'd lose his vote...not sure how much that would make a difference. personally i think he should take ashley and philip if he can take 2; neither one of them would get any sympathy votes and neither one has done jack shit to reward them the million.

Being deserving or not hasn't kept the last 2 winners from collecting the money.

but against rob, everyone would still see that he did more than they did...they just hung around. everyone knows who his lackeys are. grant may get a vote or two because of his efforts in challenges but i still think if it's rob versus anyone in his tribe, he'll get the million.

I do too. And I think he'd deserve it.

But you never know how the jury will vote. Russell absolutely dominated his first season but didn't win because people were mad at him. Maybe the same thing happens to Rob.

he didn't burn bridges like russell did. rob never promised anything and then took it back. that other tribe knew they were going to be extinguished one by one. he didn't lie to them or deceive them. to not give him the million, they would have to be pretty petty.

i could see a few people maybe being like that but not enough to not reward him the money.

yep, Rob is guaranteed the money vs any of the remaining people. Another reason why the final IC challenge is more important to Rob than even the final tribal council. If he wins the final IC he wins the million, if he loses he SHOULD be voted out at the tribal council. And since that's the case, getting rid of his biggest IC threat (Grant) at the expense of possibly losing Grant's vote is obviously the right strategic move. Especially since he's gonna dominate the final vote even if Grant votes against him out of spite.
