I think Hendry has 1 more year after this year (same as Quade). We will see if Ricketts wields the axe after this season. I will believe it when I see it. 50-50 at best I am afraid.

The free agent 1st base decision:

Carlos Pena: .157 BA 0 HR 6 RBI
Lance Berkman: .406 BA 9 HR 27 RBI

The Cardinals 1st Place, the Cubs 5th Place.

But Pena deferred his salary until 2012!

Frankly, I'd have prefered to see what Colvin could have done.

I wanted them to get Cantu. He is sucking himself right now, but for 8 or 9 million less.

Edit: 9.15 million less and he is not sucking as bad. He at least has 2 bombs and 9 rbi's to go with his .192 average.
