I believe I predicted 86 wins and a division title. This was mostly because of the weak NL Central, not my belief in the Cubs. That prediction had a minimum of 18 wins with their weak April schedule. This is going to be a complete shit show.

I will give the shark his credit because he has done very well as of late...but he throws a ton of pitches per inning and would only last 3-4 anyways. He is usually between 25-30 per inning.

The Hawks comparison is great in many ways. Rocky knew what was wrong, and had a turn key plan once his dad passed. Mid-size Tom had two years of negotiation to learn every facet of the organization. I understand waiting a year after purchasing a company, but this wasn't a three month buy/sell. Again, I've been given assurances good things will happen with Tom at the top. But the signs as a fan are tough to overlook.

I remember hearing a Phil Rogers interview at the end of spring training. He was asked about Pena and he said that after watching him he could see why his average has continued to drop every year......he looked like he just couldn't hit.

I thought if Phil Rogers thinks he's done then maybe he'll have a good year. But looks like the blind squirrel found the nut on this one.

He looks like he knows he can not hit. He looks extremely frustrated and embarrassed by it. He honestly looks like he wants to draw a walk every AB or drop that bunt down so he doesn't have to swing.

Would you rather: Hit well and get popped for 50 games if you get caught, which you may very well not because they do not test all that often........or hit .150 and try to explain why you suck so much.

There is nothing anyone can take that can cure a .150 batting average.
Taking steroids and/or HGH for a ballplayer is a lot different than Popeye downing a can of spinach.

Bat speed, power, the bodies overall ability to recover all are effected. If there was no testing Pena would be hitting quite a bit better.
