Bulls have played 1 decent game out of 6 so far in the playoffs. This is starting to become a trend. Great, Rose gets hurt in the last seconds of a game that was over.

Kid take your negativity and smother it with a peanut butter smeared pillow.

Bulls are better. They'll win.

When, again, is the magical day that Joe Johnson becomes bad like Bernstein promised?

How many Hawks games have you watched this year?

There have been times this year when he has been brutal.

Tonight he wasn't.

Couldn't watch the game but judging from the stats,Noah & Boozer having "pedestrian" type stats again. These two guys need to be better than that.

They better step it the fuck up or they will lose this series. Yes ATL is inconsistent but this is the playoffs and this level of energy they are showing is poor, especially Rose tonight.

Who listens to Bernstein anyway?

He and Boers have been claiming that the Sox will miraculously find themselves in it by June and that it will still be a race. I say, bullshit.

My point is, yeah, Bernstein is sometimes overly optimistic.

I have never heard anyone on Radio or TV break things down like Bernstein on basketball (maybe Hubie Brown). Dan is really sharp, but still an asshole overall.

JJ used to be able to go on week long binges like this before all these injuries, but yeah, he is seriously streaky. The problem is when the Hawks have both Johnson and Crawford hitting jumpers they are really tough to guard. Throw in some focused defensive intensity and you have a super slept on 2nd round opponent. I personally didn't sleep on the Hawks as much as some, but I'm still disappointed in the fact Atlanta played like they knew the Bulls game plan. The Hawks weathered the Rose onslaught. Which was pretty non existent without any free throw attempts. Overall the Hawks made decent decisions with the ball on offense, and made a good chunk of their open shots. Jeff Teague looks like he's been in the weight room with Marlon Byrd, and it showed. Teague is a better scorer than Darren Collison, but not as good a playmaker.

The Rose injury is just.... Really bad.

I was surprised by how much more athletic Atlanta looked than the Bulls. Everyone on the Bulls except for Deng looked like they were playing in slow motion for most of the game. Rose needs to step it up if he wants to be more than a regular season MVP.

I hope I'm wrong but it seems like so far in the playoffs that the Bulls have been unable to take it up a notch in terms of level of play. This could be because unlike many other NBA teams, they put in maximum effort almost all the time, and other teams are able to turn up the intensity. As TM said, Atlanta looked significantly better than the Bulls yesterday.

This is going to be a tough series but I still think the Bulls win in 6.

Yeah, I know the Hawks are athletic, but the differential last night seemed staggering compared to the regular season. And that was without Horford playing all that well.

That ankle twist last night didn't look that severe to me. Boozer has been getting barbecued in the local media, but Rose has been let off the hook. He has been less than stellar in the playoffs and needs to start performing better if he's going to live up to his hype.

what does that have to do with the bulls? did you think i was taking a shot or something? like you usually do?

TM - rose is averaging 27 pts, 6.8 assists in the playoffs. that's not bad. i think he took over the first 2 pacers games and practically won them himself, too.
