Its also hard to see how guys do when given the chance against big league pitching when god forbid they may have to unseat an overpaid veteran to get that opportunity. Hell..Marquez Smith may be decent but we will never know. I wanted to see him get some big league time last year when Aram was either hurt or complete crap.

I think there is some decent talent down there that he absolutely refuses to acknowledge. If I see fucking Bobby Scales up here as an injury replacement this year I'm going to fucking flip. It seems like if they are not a top 50 prospect throughout the entire minor leagues he wont touch them.

Back up catchers are just a waste of space on the bench until there is an injury to the starter. He can suck all he wants as long as he doesn't see the field. However, now that he will see the field, he must be disposed of.

Fitting that Hendry just released the other AAA catcher Max Ramirez. He hadn't been doing shit, but it better not make Hendry hesitant about recalling Castillo because he doesn't want a hole in AAA. He could also get on his fucking horse and trade fuk and some cash to the angels for Bobby Wilson who may very well be as good as if not better than Soto. As good as they come defensively and a great game caller, also hit the shit out of the ball in the minors but there is no room for him there. He can play first too. There is zero room for him there barring injury so they have to trade or DFA him. They are not going to roll with 3 catchers much longer.
