Well didn't he try to justify the Lilly trade and Gorz trade on needing to save money so he could take all he saved and put in in Pena as he thinks Pena sells tickets. LaHair playing everday 1b would result in no worse stats and cost 10 mil less.

I'm betting a much better BA with LaHair. Basically,Pena can't hit ML Pitching on a consistent basis AND should never face a lefty.
