You need better meatball thoughts. We've covered this one.

The team that plays better defense will win, was that covered?

If bogans is important we are in trouble because he has no chance against wade. Just like in reg season rose and wade will spend alot of time on eachother. Lebron and wade aren't 22 anymore it's not as simple as just make them shoot jumpers. Both are much smarter and better.

You can score more points than your opponent in a series and lose

Awesome performance for the Bulls. THIS is what I wanted to see out of these guys. Great defense and GREAT bench play. Taj, Brewer, and Omer...my hat's off to you.

Wow. If they play like this, no one is going to beat them.

Great performance by everyone.

right on there, RFDC. I got a guy on my route who's a big Heat fan. I said if they play like they did in the last Atlanta game, the Heat aren't gonna do shit against them. The bench is just solid.

 whoever said that missed their last two closeout games. This is a great team, people will start to see it. Game 2 will be fun and much harder. Luckily the moment will most likely guard bosh so Noah can help more

I don't know, they made an awful lot of jump shots, if they depend on those too much they can go cold and they're the ones getting blown out. I'd like to see more attacking of the basket. That said, their defense was awesome

Will Taj be a stud in this league? He seems to have the athleticism of Tyrus (minus a bit), but his defensive effort, and his offensive intelligence seem to be levels above. I think he can easily be 15 and 10 guy in a starting lineup.

http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/recap;_ylt= ... 2011051504

Quote:
Chicago’s Taj Gibson(notes) had a highlight reel dunk early in the second quarter when he threw down a vicious two-hander over Wade, leading to a three-point play. How impressive was it? Even Wade clapped about six times when he saw the replay. “That was a good one,” Wade said. “That’s a great ratio for me. First time I got dunked on all year. I’ll take my 90 to 1 (edge) on my blocks to my dunked-on (ratio). I really got punked. It was good. It was a very athletic play. I knew I didn’t have a chance. I was backpedaling when I saw him take off. He’s very athletic.”

Wade has been making a lot of excuses this year.

This aint Dallas but we aren't up 2-0 with a big lead in game 3. We are still facing two of the best ever in their primes. Don't make a mountain out of a mole hill fellas this series is by no means over.

I imagine much of the rest of the series will play out like the first half last night. I also think the Heat will have one game that they win by double digits.

It will be interesting to see if Lebron quits in this series. Kobe or MJ would come back with a dominating performance in game 2 and make the Bulls play amazing to win. He disappeared for long stretches yesterday. Losing this series would haunt him forever just like Kobe getting owned by Pierce haunts him.

I don't care how good the Bulls are defensively, you can't stop a player like Lebron with the rules of the game if he wants to do his thing.

I could easily see the Bulls sweeping or losing a close one in game 4 and finishing in game 5. The thing is that point guards gave the Bulls fits the first 2 series but Miami doesn't have one who can do that. They may just not have any answer to the defense the Bulls can play given the lack of ability they have at that position. The Bulls may prove to be the perfect counter to the Heat.

I can't recall lebron ever quitting this early in a series. And wade simply doesn't quit

This was one awesome game in which the heat didn't realize what they were walking into but there seems to be alot of prisoner of the moment going on here. The bulls are still young and learning to be champs. That process rarely comes smoothly for a new group as we saw with boston in 08 and the previous two series this year. Lebron and wade together are too talented to get swept right now.
