I think they may have just found your replacement in Tim Doyle.

Today was just as bad as every other morning. I wish 1000 could go with a local show. I dont like listening to music in the morning.

Bingo. ESPN could own the mornings if they just put a little bit of effort in. M&H are bad, very, very bad and not a good fit for radio as a whole, especially in the mornings.

Honestly, I listened to Murph and Fred on Saturday....and I, uh, I, enjoyed it. That show would go perfect in the mornings.

Don't care for Doyle...he has that arrogant New Yorker voice.

1000 will never get rid of Mike and Mike. Unless Mike and Mike break up.

In my world, the show was as lousy as usual.

Yeah, but in your world a giant furry penguin was standing at the edge of the bed when you woke up.

It's too damn hot for a penguin to just be walkin around.

I thought Tim Doyle was Mike Francesca for a few minutes this morning.

Darkside's penguin humor is far better than good dolphin's.

It's better than M&M's lame as Fat/Gay shtick and it would beat M&H, at least in my opinion.

Doyle, good man, good host. I have been driving that bus for quite some time.

Big Fan, you are a mystery. Love Mulligan, love Doyle? HUH!?

Must be some form of head trauma when you were a yute.

The LOVE is always stretched around here, but LIKE both of them.

One thing that is rarely considered by most people here is that it is tough to fill 4 hours of talk radio everyday. Part of filling that time is not having the same reactions to every comment and remaining calm at all times. Thats just not talking about sports. Mully and Doyle blab, but have reactions to.

Mark Grote is an example of a guy who placed 6th in the "Worlds Most Boring Man" competition, which Mike Esposito won. These guys are just boring. Doesn't mean bad guys, just not guys I want to listen to.

Tim Doyle is annoying as hell. Murph & Fred in the mornings on AM1000 would trounce Mully & Handjob.

I'd listen to Chet and North in the morning. Spaceball should pitch that to MVP. Chet seems to be at the point in his career where he could play second banana. Hell, he's playing second banana to a semi-good looking broad on Youtube right now. And Chet has enough of a sense of professionalism that he might even be able to keep Mikey within ESPN guidelines.

Hanley has no redeeming value on a radio show. What a useless gasbag he is. His favorite idiotic phrase is "in my world", WTF. In the real world Hanley, nobody really knows who the fuck you are.

This is not a good year for sports figures named Hanley.

Murph, Fred, North, Mully, Hanley, Gay Mikes Squared, Chet, none of them belong anywhere near my radio, ever.

To me, given what we have to work with currently, I would program the Score as follows:

5-10: B&B
10-1: Laurence Holmes
1-6: Mac
6-10: Drinky and Goff
10-5: Grobber

I will only accept this if we don't just get "The Pulse" back.... but also "Who's taking a hit off of Michael Phelps' bong?" Once Sir Larry is given his rightful spot back, Rod/Mitch/God is going to have to fondle his nuts much like Fox did when they took Seth MacFarlane/Family Guy back.... I'm thinking he gets an additional 1hr weekend show (taped during the weekdays) where he talks about TV and hot babes. That should make it up to him!

SHAKE THAT!
