There will be enough hard feelings very soon. Don't want to add to it with other stuff.

I hope they can work out the whole "Taking the co-host job" thing just as peacefully....

What was said?

Did they flat out bring up that Jason is replacing him? Or are they still being hush hush about that?

What was the fight?

Naw, the fight was about Jason saying Bullsfans who completely dismissed the Heat after the first game were foolish (or something like that). Meat Spiegel took offense and instead of talking about it in person, he took to twitter. Jason made mention of it on B&B yesterday. I guess they worked it out...

There seems to be an "undertone" of something happening soon, it just feels that way. Add in MeatPants acidic and adversarial attitude lately, the constant "Iron Man" jokes, the MeatPants laugh drop, Goff vs MeatPants Mega Fight, and other statements that are made that certainly sound as if Goff is gonna 'get his' quite soon.

Especially when Goff said "Oh naw man, you best believe I can't afford that, gotta keep the lights on!" and Terry said "Oh, you'll be able to afford that pretty soon though, right!?" and The Goff gave a very defensive and evasive answer, trying to change the subject.....

The clock is ticking, the Score is on edge, MeatPants is going to go down swinging. YOU BEST BELIEVE.

I'm not reading too much into this, am I?

Nope. You're right on the money. Expect an announcement in 2-3 weeks.

I like Goff. Meat is ok but Goff is better. Still, there other losers that should go before Meat, namely Handjobley and bLowHo.

Giving Goff a show is a major mistake. He was an embarrassment at the roast with his crude comments he thought were funny. He will drive listeners away with his fast talking and mumbling.

Mc Neil and him will not mesh. It will be Mac and Harry but worse.

Good thing Larry wasn't in that hallway. He'd have put both of them through the floor. And then he would hint at this administered double beatdown through thinly veiled innuendo on his next show.

As opposed to those non crude comments that usually make a fucking roast
such a gut busting good time?

Goff should get the evening show.

Having a regular show is much different than filling in. No pressure when you fill in to bring anything new to the table, becaus essentially, you are new.

When you are the regular host, you need to work harder to bring NEW to the table.

Murph should have moved to evenings instead of Loho & Mitch should have kept J Hood & teamed him with Goff. Hood & Goff would be the best sports radio show in Chicago.

I like Goff a lot, but the one thing he has picked up from his time with B&B that he needs to get rid of, is his dismissal of callers opinions he doesn't agree with. But he's knowledgeble and has worked under North/Jiggets as well as B&B, so he certainly has put in his time waiting for this shot. If a change is made, I hope Matt is retained as a weekend/ fill-in guy.

I doubt Mitch has confidence in Meatpants to be a fill in host. Besides, fill in hosts should be the rising stars, not the lazy guy who isn't fully committed to his job.

Yeah he's black, but I don't think his race plays any part in their decision making. Lot's of things going against him??? Like what?? I see Goff as a rising star on the Score and think management does too. Please explain what you see him having working (lots of things) against him.

I would like to hear a Mac and Bernsetein show experiment. I have no clue if it would work and judging by transition I think Bernstein's style would eventually wear Mac out. Nevertheless I would like to hear these two paired up together

Why would Mac and Spiegs be changed? Aren't they leading their respective ratings pretty soundly?

I like Goff, but I don't think it's the Danny Mac show that needs to be retooled. Stick Goff with Bernstein and let Terry ride off into the sunset; he really doesn't bring much to the show any more, and can barely finish a sentence.

For all the grief they gave Ron Santo, Terry's starting to sound like him.

I know it's your profession, but please stop painting with such a broad brush. You're probably still upset that B and B referred to you as "Steve from Elmhurst" and not your brand name. I remember when Bernsie disagreed with one of your points -- taking D Rose out in the final moments of a game. In that case, I could understand the "dismissal" because I believe your point was inane.
