Missing three HUGE shots in the end of regulation.

One of the free throws to take the lead and two jumpers (One to take a 2 pt lead with less than a minute, the other flat out for the win)

Im not sure.

In this series, yes. He isn't finishing, plain and simple.

I guess you could actually call the whole team choke artists. To many mistakes, bad passes, bad decisions, bad shots etc.

I don't think it's as much of a team choke as it is the Heat are really good.

Maybe people just expected too much of him. He can't really be expected to go one on one against James. But that was the situation that bernstein's wet dream set up. I'm sure if that game had gone down the same way with Vinny Del Negro in the coach's box, danny and Goff would be cackling about how inept Vinny was.

I think he can. I mean LBJ is a great defender and has the size advantage but Rose can still get a shot. The first one was a good look that just rimmed out. The second one he lost control on the last dribble and never had a handle on the shot.

He's got to make those.

One of em anyway

No. Good defense. No help. Rose will learn from this. Korver choked. He did absolutely nothing.

I was so pissed at their last two possessions that I went to sleep instead of watching overtime. It was no shock to me to see they ended up losing in OT. Those were possibly the two worst possessions. No creativity in the design of those plays. But I don't know what I would have done since the entire offense is out of sync.

Yeah, I'd agree if he's going to be an all-time great type of player he has to be able to hit those shots at that time. But LeBron is going to be tough for a little guy to go against.

I disagree about the first shot though. I thought it was forced and off-balance. The second one was a better look. He just missed.

It's on either the MVP or the Coach of the Year or both.

For someone who is so good at getting to the basket as his one true advantage in the matchup with James is speed it was a terrible way to try and score.

I think it's a combination of the stage and Miami's D that's getting to Rose.

23 points on 8 of 27 shooting with 7 turnovers.

Still though, the Bulls had multiple chances again to win this thing.

We desperately need someone who can dribble the ball and create their own shot from the 2 guard spot.

in the 3 loses he has played like shit, but as true Chicagoans its Korver Boozer, Noah. Blame it on the MVP to turn overy to missy, to no drivey. 8-27 and 1-9 from beyond the arc..

I agree with Rick.

That can't be the best shot you could come up with in 8 seconds.

It isn't, but I knew it was coming. This is the same play the Bulls always run in the closing seconds of a game. Rose never makes it either. He needs to drive and hopefully draw a foul, or drive and pass it to the open man. Settling for a long jumper when you are clearly gassed, is not going to win games.

I felt the same way. Knew it was coming and hoped against hope Rose could get lucky.

And JORR, are you really telling me that you think Vinny Del Negro is a competent coach?

And who the fuck cares what Bernstein or Goff thinks? Seriously. We're all talking amongst each other here. Fuck the radio hosts. They're not here. It's us. Sorry man, but I get really irritated when you drag the radio guys into every conversation.

Your first statement may be correct. Maybe not though. The NBA is all about the players.

I think Vinny Del Negro is just a guy. But do I think he doesn't know hoops? He played about 15 years in "The League". I suspect he knows a little more than the people who post here or those that talk on the radio.

Finally, I don't "drag" radio hosts into every conversation. But what's said on Chicago sports radio is the basis of this entire site. And I know you know that.

Rose has choked this entire series. 8-27 yesterday and I believe he was something like 7-23 in game 2.

All this talk about the Bulls needing a secondary scorer has been overblown. Boozer and Deng each had around 20 points yesterday and Boozer had 24 in game 3 (I don't have the box scores in front of me).

If Rose just hits 40% of his shots in game 2 and 4, the Bulls are probably up 3-1 and we are talking about how the Bulls sum is greater than it's parts, what a team they have etc.

But its hard to win when your best player and the player who is going to take the most shots can't break 33% FG.

I'll partially agree with the "basis of the site" thing. But c'mon man. Unless there's something actually said that's pertinent to the conversation, constantly bringing them up just kinda makes you seem obsessive.

The Bulls don't win 62 games this season with Vinny as their Coach. Just because you played the game doesn't mean you can teach it.

Not really. I've been hearing for weeks that Thibodeau is a combination of Stephen Hawking and Phog Allen. I've heard that diagramming last shots is COACHING. That's... what... coaching... is ...all...ABOUT. The Bulls did a piss poor job and goofs like Reggie Miller roasted Thibs for getting Boozer smoked repeatedly on the pick and roll.

It's fair to say Rose has choked so far in this series if we are judging by MVP criteria.

Its also easier to empathize with Lebron if Cleveland fans were nearly as harsh as some comments I've heard.

Rose is 22 and on a historical pace. We are seeing the NBA learning curve in action and if we have learned anything about Rose the past few years I think it's also fair to believe he is coming back better and stronger than ever next year if this series ends like it looks like it will
