I think the Soriano deal is will end up being one of the worst signings in baseball history not just Cubs history. Along with Kevin Brown, Mike Hampton, and Barry Zito

You are correct sir. Larry Himes. He almost pissed Sandberg away also and would have if Ryne did not want to stay with the Cubs so bad. Sammy Sosa was his guy and that was always the case.

he was Derosa's replacement on the roster, and we cut him 2 weeks into April

never forget Hendry defending the signing by saying the Cubs had more speed :lol:
