I've had no complaints with Comcast.
It takes a bit of work, but whenever my bill goes up, I'll call and threaten to cancel. A few words to a supervisor and its all good. Plus they usually throw in a subscription channel for free.

Yeah,same thing happened to me. (I have a thread on it somewhere) I called and after wading through the "first flank",I got a service rep who got me a package for 130 bucks for phone,cable & internet. Only diff was I know have STARZ for a year instead of HBO,which was fine with me. My internet is also the advanced package called "The Blast". I already had that & did not switch.

Anyways, I've had it explained to me that it contains the same hurtful connotations to it as the other word, but it adds the stigma of it being wrong to act a certain way.

Do what you want, but realize that a lot of people think that word is hurtful too. It's probably best not to use it but then again you seem to be an expert on who is a bigot.

That's not the same at all. It's not a combination of two words. It's a two word phrase that is shortened to one word. It only means one thing.

Also, why should it be "derogatory" to act black? That's the amusing thing. Even your defense of the word as "derogatory" or "offensive" is telling. That's the second part. It puts a negative connotation on black culture. That's one of the hurtful things about it.

I advise against using it. Make your own decision.
