Really. I love how matter of fact Rozner is about Sandberg, and what he would have done for the Cubs.
All of this based upon Rozner's relationship with the HOFer and Sandberg's work in the MINOR LEAGUES. Please!! Someone needs to tone down the Cub Chub. Hard to really sense the objectivity with Rozner's comments.

I do understand what Rozner is talking about though. Sandberg would not have been in the position of just go along with the program or you will be relegated back to the minors forever. Plus, he is kinda crazy these days, in case you are not aware this is not the same Sandberg who played here.

I do think Quade earned the job last year, but prior to naming Quade, I would have for sure moved Sandberg up and had a real evaluation.

Plus, if Hendry tells me a guy is bad, I tend to think he might have some good qualities!

I'd still prefer Sandberg to Quade hands down. Quade is not a ML manager. Only Jim Hendry is stupid enough to hire him. 'Nuff said.
