Don't like almost anything he did int he last 2 years when he plays psychos, as I don't feel so much that he is acting. Just a weird feeling when I watch the guy.

I felt the same way watching The Patriot.

A crazy guy running around with a tomahawk and cutting people up.

Just another Saturday for Mel.

i saw the trailer to that movie and i just don't know that i can buy the premise. i like the set up but once he finds the puppet it just seems too incredible to believe.

"the patriot" was a bad film. i remember seeing it in the theatre. it's just a dumb action movie.

gibson's been good when he gets to play an actual character, like in "the man without a face" and even "signs" which i ultimately didn't like as a film, but he was definitely good in it.

Bite your tongue!

The Patriot was the greatest historical film regarding the Revolutionary War of all time.

And the Joker is in it.

Whatever movie is on cable now, when he plays a psycho cop. Just feels like a reality show with him.

You're probably thinking of Edge of Darkness. I saw it a few months ago. It was ok, but completely an unbelievable story. He does fuck some shit up though by the end, which was entertaining.

I reviewed The Beaver a couple of weeks ago. It was a day I had to myself and it rained 18 hours so I spent the day in the theater. I liked it. Mel may be crazy but I think he is a good actor.

I'll give you a little more good dolphin history for the interested and Telegram Sam: I saw The Patriot on a rainy evening in Kodiak Island, Alaska's only theater one night during my honeymoon. The place is as big as Dr. Ken's home theater. Kodiak Island doesn't offer much up in the way of nightlife and during the summer doesn't really even offer up much night.

I did. I'm not an outdoorsman (can't skin a buck or run a trout line) but I like the outdoors. Alaska was fantastic for that. I went bear treking, deep sea fishing for halibut (caught 100 lbs., had it shipped back right from the pier to my parents house and it was great), went to the base camp of Mt. Mc Kinley, saw orca, saw whales about 100 yards off shore in some state park, went kayakinh with whales and seals. It might not be for everyone but it was as good of a two week honeymoon as I could have hoped for.

Yeah, I'd be interested in seeing Alaska. You just didn't strike me as an "outdoorsy" kind of guy.

I like getting out in nature. I'm not much of a hunting, fishing, getting raped by locals in the woods type.

Mrs. Dr. Ken's idea of getting out in nature is going to the beach instead of the pool.

I don't think we'll be hitting Alaska anytime soon.

 That sounds about like my wife. Excpet my wife's idea of getting out in nature would be driving by the beach on the way to the pool.

That's what happens when you marry above your station.
