Mac's talking about Paul Konerko & Alexei Ramirez as potential White Sox All-Stars in Phoenix next month. I doubt seriously that Rangers' manager Ron Washington's taking either one as likely reserves for the American League squad.

#1) the players get to vote on some of the reserves and #2), every team needs an All Star and those 2 are without question the most deserving from the Southside.

Frank, I agree that Alexei & Paulie are the most deserving White Sox for the All-Star Game next month at the home of the Arizona Diamondbacks, Chase Field. However, even the most deserving All-Stars don't get to represent their team in the Midsummer Classic, especially now that home field in the World Series is at stake. That part alone is stupid, but when teams suck, they don't deserve an All-Star. The next "Commissioner" of Major League Baseball has to get rid of that rule that every team has to be represented. Other leagues don't have such a rule for their All-Star games, and MLB shouldn't either...

Factually speaking, Alex Rodriguez's the leading vote-getter at third base, Derek Jeter's the top shortstop, Robinson Cano at second base & Mark Teixeira at first base, according to MLB Network for next month's All-Star Game. All of whom are Yankees...

On today's show, I did like the football talk, and for about th 3rd time, they have said they may do a College Football Fantasy Game, CBSsportsline runs one.

If it does become Mac and Goff, I do like Spiegel, but would say Mac and Goff is better, but I wonder do you say that because we hear it once in awhile and it's a change, would the same thing still be said if like has been reported by some people here, a new show.

Mac & Goff were great today. Rozner was 100% correct in his analyses & assessment of Tom Ricketts. I think he's been reading my posts here.
