I've reached the point where I just don't care about this organization at all right now. I'm so confused by these lineups. Why call up anyone (at least prospects) if you never plan to play them. Send them back to the minors to learn.

If I was a MLB manager/GM (which I most certainly am not and have no credentials to even say anything) I would have a set everyday lineup and a bench full of low-priced, mostly dead weight veterans who I never intend to play except in a pinch hitting situation. I would keep all my young prospects at AAA and only bring them up to replace DL'd starters on the MLB roster. NEVER bring them up to sit on the bench. If a starter is un-productive, then trade him or put him on the bench, DFA a bench turd, and bring up a prospect to be the new starter.

Yeah,but Blake DeWitt is at .292 right now. He is also younger then some of the Cubs "prospects".
