Im just saying. Anyway rasing that issue is like saying you found a small penny sized leak on the titanic.

Agreed the ship is sinking, but Lopez has no business in the game in the 10th inning. Period. He is a washed up piece of shit minor league mopup man at best.

Who should have been in the game? Marmol and Marshall had already been used. Wood pitched 2 innings on Saturday, so he was probably unavailable. Those are the 3 best relievers on the team. Who should they have marched out there? Shark? He gave up the game winner the day before...

And I'm sure Sandberg has to be shaking his head at this fucked up organization. Is his AAA team still in 1st place??

I love how all of the blame is on the Cubs pitching. Dont put anything on one of the best hitters of this generation.

I'd have put Grabow out there and told him to walk Pujols. Grabow is pulling down major cash thanks to Hendry so use him irrespective of the LH pitcher factor. Maybe Quade didn't want to show up Hendry by watching Grabow get lit up??

That's why MLB managers pitch around specific players at specific times...

So you think he should have intentionally walked the leadoff hitter in the 10th inning?

And Quade is the bad manager?

Quade needs to realize some things.

1. This team sucks a fat cock and is not going to compete for anything....at all.

2. You are going to be fired before this team is every capable of competing at the major league level

3. The players are not your friends. When you are gone they will act like they never knew you.
4. You were a fairly decent minor league manager

Therefore......he needs to start treating this team like a AAAA team. This is not a major league team so stop buying into that bullshit line of thinking. Start managing like this is a minor league team and you are getting guys ready for the next level. Get the dead ass aram out of the lineup, officially make Hill the organizational bullpen catcher, get the fuck rid of doug davis and that other pile of shit you just picked up. Start getting the kids that are up there some reps except for Colvin who needs to go to damn near Daytona for the way he is hitting.

Playing the dead asses is not going to sell one more single fucking ticket than playing the kids. No one cares if this team wins right now......people just want to see some development.

Don't ask "Q" to think for himself. He will do whatever puppet master Hendry tells him to do.

I missed the Friday Zambrano game. Should he have been lifted after 6 innings? 128 pitches is alot nowadays. Just curious if "Q" left him in to long??

Probably...but Qball (and Lou to a large extent) are afraid to remove him when the Cubs are losing, since that eliminates his chance for victory -- even though by leaving him in too long, they are often reducing the team's chance of victory.

The Cubs against Lee have 3 LH who CAN't hit left handed pitching. They knew they were top heavy with LH hitters but no call to the minors for anybody. REEEAAALLL NIICCEE!

DJ LeMahieu, who has NEVER played 1B ever in the professional ranks, gets the start at 1B against Milwaukee.

I must been wrong about "Q". This guy is pushing the envelope!

I do not want him fired.

I want this team to go down in flames. An "oh the humanity"-type season. I want to see fans running for their lives out of Wrigley Field, screaming at the top of their lungs.

Fuck Hendry. I want his reputation in complete tatters when he's shitcanned.

Good point and I agree. I see nothing happening until seasons end. A 100 loss season will cement Quade as one of the worst managers ever, a title he richly deserves. And given he was Hendry's choice to manage, a 100 loss season will send Hendry out to pasture as well.

In the mean time, Mark Cuban celebrates an NBA title and we're stuck with McRicketts.

exactly...it's funny, I felt this exact same way in 2008, cuz I had the foresight that too many high contrasts, bombastic signings, and bully maneuvers was not the right way to go

everyone laughed at me

now everyone gets it

people want homegrown talent...people want players they can identify with...

I want Bully Hendry completely destroyed...great to see people now rallying around this idea...he has no business being a GM...he is too nervous a guy and very short-sighted...he is more of a manager material, and in fact, thats how he started out...he is only a GM because McPhail took him under his wing ...the result of that is what would happen if he took any of us under his wing...a mess...Hendry has no pedigree, he has no business education, no nothin...he's, in effect, a guy off the street that became a salesman

Nice to hear Quade thought Zambrano "threw the ball great" last night. Really? 5 runs on 9 hits (6 doubles) over 6 innings? An ERA of 7.50 and a WHIP of 1.83?

I'm not saying Qball has to rip him, but how about something along the lines of "we need Z to pitch better." My only hope is that the Cubs are trying to do the impossible and trade him. He's absolutely toxic to this organization.

Anytime Quade wants to stop blowing sunshine up our ass would be fine with me. He has the personality of a kids morning show host.

Fuck you Quade.....you are a horseshit manager. I thought it was a decent hire at first with your minor league background and the decent finish last year....but I was wrong. You are a spineless sac of shit, you make crazy coaching calls that almost always fail and you and your team fucking sucks. Take a hike you fucking hack. I can not believe that someone who knows the game and put in the work you did in the minor leagues would fold like a fucking noodle in the bigs. You are pathetic....you became a worse manager with this job. If you had the balls to be the manager you used to be the ship may have sunk but at least it would have sunk close to port instead of sinking in the middle of the god damn ocean of endless suck.

His post game news conferences are pathetic. Glad to see his is so "optimistic" following atrocious losses. What a joke. They give away numerous runs and all this guy can do is accentuate the positive? No wonder McRicketts likes the guy so much. They both wear the same blinders.

Nice move not pinch hitting for Koyie Hill. Brilliant letting your backup catcher hit with the game on the line. Absolutely brilliant.
