You won't know until you show up. Again, I'd be surprised if it wasn't Red & White. Every time but one that I have played 18 there it has been those 2.

There was a course in Rockford I used to do some "night putting" on - but I think that had a different meaning.

When I worked at a course throughout high school there were many "night putting" events during the summer.

Greetings fellow golf enthusiasts.

Just a few things for those who haven't played the course before (Links at Carillon).

1) I recommend entering the course via the south entrance on Weber Rd. If you do so, you will drive up to a small gate where an old troll is likely to be waiting.

2) To pass the troll, you will need to answer he these questions three: A) Your name; B) Your favorite color; C) average flight speed of an African swallow. Or you can just tell him you are there to play golf.

3) The clubhouse is a couple blocks down the road on your right (by the tennis courts). Try not to hit any old people along the way.

4) I will be at the course a little before noon to hit range balls and to check in. If for some reason you get there and can't find us I will let the pro shop know we are expecting 7 - 8 morons to check in under the name "Ugueth".
