Midway through the 2nd quarter here, and Thomas' impact has really been felt. I've seen enough; most agree that the Bulls will probably not be a championship team this year (myself included), and I think that he's beginning to adapt to the NBA game to the point where you have to throw him out there and get him as much experience as possible. I'm ready to take the bad with the good. Thomas is showing the kind of promise to where I believe he can have a sizable impact next season. Sorry, PJ, it's Thomas time.

I would hope that Skiles sticks with Thomas. He's going to have games where he gets into foul trouble, but he's a great shot blocker, and he adds so much energy. Now, I'm going to guess Skiles will want Thomas coming the bench for that very reason now that Gordon is starting, and also to keep Brown's old body warm at the outset of games, plus the playoff experience factor and all that, but I'm hoping that he does something 'illogical', and start Thomas with Brown there for when he does get into foul trouble.

That son of a gun blocks shots that nobody in the NBA can. It's not the typical in your face blocks. He blocks them while he's a couple of feet from the shooter. He gets them while the ball is still going up to avoid the goal tend. It's impressive.

He deserves 20-25 minutes a night. P.J Brown has aged 5 years in the last month it seems. Thomas still has a ways to go offensivly. But his defense is enough to justify more minutes. Even when P.J Brown comes back.

I would like to see him start, too. We all know that's not going to happen, though. Hopefully he'll get 25 minutes a night though, because he can give them a big lift down the stretch and add an element in the playoffs that they didn't have last year.
