Wouldn't it be more appropriate for BoysTown to host this event?

Upon looking at the website provided, it appears that this little event is presented by something called Adrenaline Sports Management. The last time I checked, the idea of this being an "Adrenaline Sport" seems a little ludacris. I'm fairly certain that I have never played bags while sober, and the only time I've ever gotten a little rush of adrenaline out of the activity was when Lipid whacked Panther with a toss as last year's Darksideapalooza.

I also contend that this is not a sport, but that's a discussion for a different day.

I saw a commercial yesterday for Subway that featured a bunch of athlete's talking about training and eating Subway. It also featured a Nascar driver, which made it very eye-roll worthy....

What is Beer & Bagz? A combo beer drinking competition and bags?

Reminds me of that scene in Kingpin when dude is talking about being around all these great athletes and they're all 350lbs and old and smoking.

To me, any activity that can be performed to some extent while drinking and/or smoking (or both at the same time) do not qualify as sports. And away we go...

BOYD'S LIST OF ACTIVITIES THAT PEOPLE TRY TO PASS OFF AS SPORTS, BUT REALLY AREN'T
Bowling
Golf
Frisbee (ultimate and golf)
Poker
Bags
Darts
Billiards
Softball
Volleyball (the version played at the park and/or parties)
Auto Racing
Horse Racing
Wheelchair Basketball (lazy fuckers are just sitting around)
Table Tennis

You can do a lot of things while drinking or smoking if you have no further interest in...you know...being alive.

For those that don't think golf is a sport, go and walk a long 18 hole course while carrying your bag.

Smoking and drinking are not always requirements, but in this case, these guys are driving around making left handed turns. This theory is not a popular one with my dad either (he's a huge NASCAR fan)...he get's pissed when I refer to it as a "Redneck Turning Contest"

Good rule of thumb: If whites do it better than blacks it's not a sport.

There are only four sports: Baseball, Boxing, and Horse Racing, and Advancing an Object to a Goal (this includes football, soccer, hockey, and basketball)

I was kidding.

Sandy Koufax, Shawn Green, Shakes

After they dominated boxing, because economically they had to, they moved on to Hollywood.

They are still there.
