It seems like everywhere you look, there's a morning radio show now being simulcast on TV. New York-based "shock jock" Don Imus has a TV simulcast of his WABC Radio show these days on FOX Business Network, DIRECTV 359. Mike Greenberg & Mike Golic simulcast ESPN Radio's "Mike & Mike in the Morning" on ESPN2HD, and Colin Cowherd's midday show "The Herd" airs nationally on ESPNUHD. DIRECTV's Audience Network, formerly the 101, and Comcast SportsNet locally simulcast Dan Patrick's nationally syndicated sports talk show.

There are also local sports talk shows being simulcast on regional sports networks across America. Even though he and Chris "Mad Dog" Russo broke up their long-running sports talk show a long time ago, Mike Francesa's top-rated afternoon sports talk show on WFAN SportsRadio continues to be simulcast every weekday afternoon on the YES Network. Another WFAN show, "Boomer & Carton", featuring Boomer Esiason & Craig Carton, recently started simulcasting their morning show on New York's MSG Network. If that's not enough, NESN recently started to simulcast the popular Boston-based morning show "Dennis & Callahan", heard out East on WEEI SportsRadio. Get the picture?

Pretty soon, we can add CBS Sports' Tim Brando to that list. The host of CBS' "College Football Today" and a prominent PBP voice on the network's NCAA Basketball coverage hosts a daily sports talk show on Sporting News Radio nationally from 9a-Noon weekdays on radio stations across America. Tim's SNR show will soon be simulcast coast-to-coast on the recently renamed CBS Sports Network, DIRECTV 613, starting in August.

Relatively cheap programming. My question is, does it attract flies better than Sporting News Radio/Fox Sports?
