Try again. I don't blindly defend everything the man does or says. Truth be told I haven't listened closely to his show in a while. Its just funny and that the people who claim they hate Mac and never listen to his show post about things his says on his show almost immediately, and others just harp on other bullshit that really has nothing to do with the show.

You want to get on Speigs for missing shows because of the band, that's one thing. But where Mac takes up residence has really nothing to do about the programming of his show.

Its possible this thread, which was discussed on the radio numerous times, changed the dynamics of these negoatiations.

My source says the talks are "hostile at best" including a lot of personal shots.

I'm starting to think Goff was used as a pawn by Zimmerman. Zim wanted it leaked out that talks were taking place with him to lessen the bargaining power of a Matt Spiegel. :shock:

It would be a real shame if Mac is out & Spiegel stays. It's too bad that Mitch won't take risks & give the young guys a chance. I would love to hear Goff & Matty together in prime time.

Matt Abbatacola & Jason Goff did host a show together called "Last Call", Scorehead, which I believe aired part time on weekends a few years ago. As much as we'd like to hear more Matty & Jason, it's not happening together. A certain someone who's been off the last 3 weeks, Laurence Holmes, recently signed an extension for 2 more years.
