Anyone drinking anything interesting lately? Just picked up some Victory Prima Pils to give it a try. Nice sipper with some herbal bite to it. Definitely smells and tastes like a pilsner with that fresh cut grass smell to it. I liked it but probably wouldn't buy another 6.

Spany, what was the name of that beer you had for us last year at the Cell? That was a something.

If I remember correctly, it was Fat Tire Ale.

It was, up until a few years ago.

Hey HV. Did you notice that they've chanced the facade on what used to be the Circuit City? No signs up yet, but it certainly looks out of place for that mall, and sure looks a lot like the awning over the Binny's in Schaumburg.....

Had a tasting of a few of the selections from here -

http://www.argusbrewery.com/our_beers.html

I'm not one to get the nuances of the palate so I'll just say that I had the Pegasus IPA which was slightly above-average and would definitely have again. I also tried the Irish Cream Ale which I did not like as much.

Anybody tried the Big Sky brews? I grabbed their sampler pack and hope to hit into it this weekend. Sadly, hospital maternity rooms don't have a mini fridge for me to cool it down. (lots of places to hide a bottle of Crown though)

Nothing like welcoming the birth of child like hiding booze and getting liquored up.

Never said liquored up. Nothing wrong with a quick sanity break though after the rest are down for (what passes for) the night.

I wish you wouldn't try to create a problem where I don't think there would otherwise be one. I made a racial joke. Get over it. Call me a nazi or something. But stop crying. I don't have a problem with you. You really, really want one with me.

The Circuit City is going to be another appliance retailer - Gregg's I think is the name. Some east coast chain.

Now I'm more curious what is going into the old Office Depot since I saw they applied for a liquor license for sales.

I can literally walk there without even using village streets. God be praised!
