I'm almost afraid to post plays here as I seem to lose more than I win. But after a winning weekend, maybe my mojo is coming back just in time...

George Mason-VCU UNDER 129
This is an angle I play during conference tourneys...go under with two teams playing their third games in three days on a neutral floor. More often than not, teams don't hit their shooting averages in these games...due in part to tired legs. This is actually GMU's fourth in four days. Add to this the defensive intensity that comes with a champ. game GMU is the slowest tempo team in the CAA and will have to slow down VCU's desire to play fast and score in transition. I've seen some ugly CAA finals in recent years with poor shooting and very low scores....and this could be another one.

Wright State +2 versus Butler. This is the Horizon League championship game...on WSU home court...with Butler already a lock to make the NCAA. Butler has not been playing well in the second half of the year and they have been particularly unimpressive away from home. WSU was a suprise in the conference, but they lead the league for the entire season. Both teams are rested after playing only 1 game over the last 1.5 weeks. I think this one will be a grind. It should be no more than 3 points either way. I like WSU under those circumstances.

I give you my lukewarm endorsement of Wright, aka the Kiss of Death.

If you want Wright State, wait until just before tip. It is a televised game, and the public will probably get on Butler late.

I think UNDER 128 is the best play on that game tomorrow.

De Paul is like Forrest Gumps box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get. They are tough to make a play on either way.
