Obviousely, without an NFL season I am not heading down to the Big E, but just putting it out there for those who might have an interest.

I have stayed at the Iberville Suites (Chateau Sonesta) and it's really a great hotel. Not huge, but big rooms, nice pool, classic Bar. 1 Block from Bourbon, about 7 walkable blocks to Superdome...here are the basics.

Work permitting, Mrs. Retard and I likely will attend if airfare does not go up too much once the lockout is settled. Depending on their schedule we typically do a Bears road game every other year or so, the last one being the Cincy debacle.

We will probably do Saturday AM => Monday AM on a nonstop AA flight and either burn Hilton points at the downtown Hampton or Hotwire a hotel.

BOOKED!

Sat - Mon; $300 each on AA; non-stop each way.

2 nights at New Orleans Guest House B&B - French Quarter; $99 per night -- through hotels.com. Can cancel up to a few days prior.

Looks like all tickets go to STHs so will purchase from one of them, probably off NFL ticket exchange, once the lockout settles. Hopefully soon!
