Those 3 players are also on teams that won't make the playoffs while the Bulls are basically the 2 seed in the East. Pax is doing fine.

I don't think Chandler has improved. Two seasons ago, the 47 win season, Chandler averaged like 9 points and 12 rebounds to end the season.

Everybody is amzed by what he's doing but he did this with the Bulls too. I just thought Wallace would be a little better. I think Wallace might step it up in the playoffs however. We'll see.

Chandler provides very little defense. yes, he blocks some shots and gets rebounds, but he does not block out at all. His rebounds, blocked shots etc are all good but they are a result of leaping over other people.

Blocked shots are one of the most overated stats in sports. Considering 7 out of 10 times you block a shot it is called a foul. The rest of time the ball still goes back to the other team. Nobody does the Bill Russel block anymore.

Chandler could not stop anyone from backing down, either could Curry. I would take Curry's O power from the block right now, but you just cant pay the guy big time money.

Crawford, Please...One more missed shot at he is shooting below 40% from the Field. It's like the year Jalen Rose made the All STAR game as a Bull shooting 37%.

Yes the Knicks are doing better, but even with Mr Curry and Mr Crawford they are 6 below .500 and might dip further now without Crawford.

You were right on Chandler. I'd rather have him then Wallace. Chandler makes less per year and is younger. Wallace will only get worse.

But who would you rather have? Gordon or Crawford? You couldn't have them both on the Bulls. I think Gordon is by far the better player. So I have no problem with that.

Curry. As you know it had nothing to do with Pax liking him as a player. It was over his heart condition. He just wasn't willing to risk playing him. Right or wrong that's the reason so you can't say Pax misscouted him or anything.

Nas he could have written that contract like you suggested. But that wasn't the issue. HE DIDN'T WANT CURRY TO DIE. Maybe Curry won't die.. But can't you give Pax credit for caring about him.

I don't think that's correct. There was no deal unless he took that medical exam.

Ok. You're right. I remember now. But Pax was willing to give him that only if he took the test. Then if the Doctor told him he should never play the Bulls would still honor that deal and he'd be set for life.

That's the way it was Nas. They were trying to help Curry. Change your mind on it now Nas?

I thought the one-year deal was conditional upon Curry passing the genetic test Paxson wanted him to take. He would've gotten the 20-year annuity if he failed the test.

He wasn't playing God. I don't know how you reach that conclusion. He just wanted to get him medically cleared. What if he did drop dead? Hell, he still might.

Then you would criticize him for not caring and treating him like a piece of meat.

Maybe that one Doctor was right. That's what Pax thought. I guess we won't know unless Curry dies. Maybe he won't but Pax's intentions were honorable. I'll never fault him for that.

Nas, back to your original argument that you can't judge great players on making the playoffs. Fine. You need help.

But you cited Crawford and Curry as Pax mistakes. They play on the same team in New York now. So combined shouldn't they be above .500 if they play on the same team and are so great? Especially in this weak Eastern conference. Plus they have Malbury on that team to help

I know Crawford is hurt. But when he was healthy the team still sucked with both of them.

Meanwhile the Bulls are a two seed with Pax's players.

So what if they make the 8 seed. That's still a disapointment in the East and they'll be bounced by the Pistons. Krause wasn't right (by the way I think Krause was great during the 90's). And you casually dismiss that the Bulls are basically a 2 seed with Pax's choices. Would the Bulls be better with Curry, Chandler, and Crawford against this roster? No. Like I said 2 guys you argued for play for the Knicks and they suck.

You basically said that Pax made a mistake and I'm saying the Bulls are the two seed.

They can't beat the western team in the finals. But no team in the East can.

The Bulls are 1 game out of the 2 seed. They'll have it in a week and maintain it because of the weak schedule they have the rest of the way. Yes. The Bulls won 47 games with Curry and Chandler. Proving that Skiles can get the best out of those two and you said he couldn't earlier. But this team is better as is without Crawford and Curry.

I said you were right about Chandler. I'd rather have him then Wallace.

There were people that thought the Knicks would make a 8 or 7 seed. That's no acomplishment. You need to be .500 to do that in the east. Big deal.

Yeah they need a low post player. But I still think they can get to the finals without one. Orlando and Miami are the only ones in the East that have a great one and Orlando won't make the playoffs. Miami might not make it either without Wade.

If the Bulls make the finals they'll get killed. Let's see what Pax can do in the off season.

Here is something you've never heard on this board KS. I agree with you.

All of that is true but he can score with his back to the basket and any team in the league(including the Bulls)would love to have him.

I agree with you for the most part, Nas, but the simple fact is that the Bulls were not going to risk a Hank Gathers. It's easy to criticize when it's not your decision that results in a dead player on the court.

Agreed with KS...there are a bunch of guys in the NBA like Crawford. The Bulls don't miss him.

Pax HAD to get rid of Curry. I can't fault him for that. I hope that he's wrong about him...I don't want anybody collapsing on the court.

As for Wallace and Chandler...long term Chandler will be the better player, possibly as soon as next year. Wallace hasn't put up bigger numbers, but he's still a valuable piece of this team. Maybe we'll see more in the playoffs from him. I'm not ruling that out.
