yeah but he does call abrams a plagiarist. that's more of an indictment than most critics have said of the film.

the movie's just weak. and i won't put myself through "green lantern", even if edelstein did like it.

From everything I've read I'm almost positive I would hate this movie. And no I didn't only read Zack's review

The other day I had a late day @ work there's a movie theatre right there my little brother was game so we went and donated $10 to the cause of seeing this movie, with the hopes that it'd be awful and it'd be a dead theatre so we could kick our feet up and talk shit about it the whole way through like the MSTies that we oh so desire to be.

In that spirit, I present my incredibly long review of Super 8... don't read any further unless you have a good 30 minutes to kill:

Meh. I wanted the fat kid to die.

yeah, pretty much wanted to punch him in the face everytime he said "production value" and "mint".

I haven't seen the movie, but is the issue about this movie the fine line between homage and plagiarism?

Good movie...a little slow to develop but plenty of moments where I jumped out of my seat...I'd recommend it...
