He's got the fire and the passion. Dove twice last night to try and save the game. Led off the 9th with a hit, and scored the winning run. This guy should be starting everyday. He's a white/grindy Juan Pierre.

I like to think that his super-flagrant bluffs of stealing home got in sergio romo's head last night. The way he'd go halfway down the line and then lunge towards home plate with every pitch made him so dangerous that romo decided to miss high and outside with a slider that Ramirez pulled for a single. This man needs to nail batting gloves to the wall like Willie Mays Hayes.

He showed off his Pierresque arm last night, that's for sure.

And Fuk followed it up against the very next hitter. Those two throws were two of the worst I have ever seen.

Where are all you Cubs fans who supported the Quade hire now after watching this moron badly mismanage every aspect of this inept ballcub? He had no business getting the interim tag last year and belongs nowhere near a big league dugout now.

He is a total embarrassment to the profession.

I was fine with him being named manager based on what I saw last year and his minor league resume. I had no idea he was going to blow the entire roster every chance he got and that he was this awful of a decision maker.

I am not a Quade supporter and could care less if he is fired tomorrow. This TEAM is an embarrassment, not just Quade. It would not matter who was the coach of this team they would still absolutely SUCK.

I agree. And having a shit manager who is clueless turns the team into an absolute disgrace, which it now is.

I was shocked he got the interim gig. He belongs in A ball pitching batting practice and hitting fungos.

Riggleman is right there for you. I've always been a fan of Riggs & would love to see him take over this Cubs team from the guy who had no fucking business getting a job he wasn't qualified for in the first place.

When exactly does Ricketts evaluation period end anyway?

I have said it before and will say it again. Bobby Valentine. Little rat faced bastard is just the kick in the ass this team needs now and in the future. I really think he would be a good fit for this dead ass outfit.

Just had to let Lopez take the at bat with runners on 1st and 3rd and two out, eh Quade? Then let him pitch the 6th and give up the lead? I guess that's when they do in A ball?? Good job Quade.

Speaking of managers, look at what Hurdle has done for the Bucs. Good for him! The Cubs never bothered to interview him. Probably because he has a World Series appearance on his resume...

Quade's bad managing and Garza shitting himself has made the pen mighty tired. Pretty sure Marshall is down tonight too. I don't need to see the shark that bad right now. Plenty of innings left for him and the crew to blow.....though he will probably deal along with Russel and Woody will blow it.

I wonder if Lopez goes out for the 7th?

Great job getting the lead run thrown out at 2nd. Who the fuck teaches him to look back while running?

Sloth out to remove the usually effective in relief Russell after a mere 1 out.

You dumbfuck Quade...Unless its the god damn playoffs you never pitch a fucking reliever the next day after he has pitched 2 innings. What the fuck is wrong with you? Marshall is one of the few guys you can trade with a decent return and you proceed to blow him up. Fucking idiot.

If your team is that bad because you lost 4 #5 starters, it means your first 4 probably aren't very good.

Mind you, that doesn't exactly excuse whatever nuthouse that Quade has been running over there completely...

I don't remember Jim Essian or some of these other clowns who have managed this team being this inept. Quade is so far over his head it is not funny. He needs axed immediately before he injures more pitchers.
