I've had actual smoked chicken, and it's really good...BBQ sauce works well.

I'll likely bring some flank steak or a pork tenderloin.

Since my birthday is around that time I imagine I will still be lost in a Yankee Candle somewhere. Alas, I will be unable to attend.

Greetings programs! A few minutes ago I was outside having a cigarette before a well-deserved passing out and it hit me. The clouds parted and a beam of light so ethereal it had to be from the heavens shone down upon me. After I realized it was merely the FBI helicopters that have been following me around all day and we had a quick informal chat, I got back to that moment of inspiration... I was thinking about this year's Summerfest at Le Chateau Darko and pondering all of the bands, rappers, comedians, and performances of every walk of life... and then it came to me: How about testing out an inaugural run of what could be the greatest yearly event in the proud magnanimous history of the CSFMB... the first annual CSFMB roast!

I know W_Z is the only formally-trained comedian here, but I'm pretty sure that if given time and motivation most of the board's core (waves at the ISOP) are pretty funny guys. Hell, I think that Drop In could probably write for television shows if he ever got the opportunity, let alone the rest of us who spend hours a day bustin everyone's balls in the name of community-based-humor.

I have no idea who the first sacrifi... erm, Man of the Hour could be... I'd volunteer even though I'm still kind of fringey and definitely not a member of the vaunted 1000 club even tho my account predates just about everyone's on here. But like, if someone else were willing to volunteer and be the first subject, and say it was someone of that OKC/Camps/Darko/Cozstansa/Speeps/Boyd/DropIn/etc calibur I think this could end up being a board "thing."

Think about this in all of its magnanimous glory: board attendance is gonna be higher than Free Ajent getting ready to plug a heifer, the alcohol will be flowing freely... hell, seeing as it's not arbor day a few trees might end up getting burned. All in all, the situation would be RIPE for a roast, and if it took off the annual Summerfest @ DS Estates could be home to one of the most awesome things in CSFMB history.

Everyone here knows each other quite well.... just about everyone here not named Eaglo Jeff is funny (hey man, it's all in good humor! OWN THE SUCK! =), and we all spend hours a day hanging out and breaking each other's balls behind the veritable security of internet facelessness.... just imagine doing it IRL for one glorious drunken night!

Hell, just imagine if the first roast victim was Beardown! We might be able to get Abbatacola out for an appearance =D

So what sayest thou, esteemed ladies and gentlemen of the CSFMB? Am I on to something here, or is this gonna be one of those "you're high... shutup!" moments. btw, on a quick tangent I forget who said that quote... can someone hook me up with that bit of trivia?

Actually there is one that is smokin. She's a Lawyer In Training, currently working with me lady.
I met her and the wife up at the Irish Mill a few weeks ago. I think, seriously, that she was more or less lobbying for some multi partner action. She asked DW if she could motorboat her. It was pretty... fascinating. Of course, some of this has something to do with my current state of sexiness, which is reaching astronomical proportions, but also the intensity and forwardness of this young lady.
They put little shamrocks in the Gunness beers you order there.
So this girl was really touchy too. And... she like demanded to buy me my first several beers.
