Just when you thought it was safe to put on your TV, the folks at Comedy Central are about to "Roast" one of the most controversial people they've ever had on their annual free for all. According to E! Online, the latest victim is none other than Charlie Sheen. Yes, folks, the same Charlie who was recently fired from his role on "Two and a Half Men".

Roastmaster Jeff Ross and a group of fellow comics will be firing away on Charlie and everything that has happened to the troubled actor. The goddesses, the porn stars, the ex-wives, the drugs, the wild parties, co-creator Chuck Lorre, Charlie's former co-stars... According to Comedy Central's head of programming Kent Alterman, "Charlie's assured us that nothing will be off limits in this Roast, which scares even us."

Charlie will be joining the likes of David Hasselhoff, Pam Anderson, Bob Saget, Joan Rivers, William Shatner, Flava Flav and Donald Trump in being roasted in this Comedy Central exclusive. While past roastees have been able to keep their emotions in check and take the heckling in stride, it'll be interesting to see if Sheen will be able to take everything he'll soon receive the same way. The annual "Comedy Central Roast" will tape September 10th in Los Angeles, and following a lot of bleeps and editing along the way, the finished product starts airing September 19th.

I don't know if any of those goddesses, let alone ex-wives Denise Richards & Brooke Mueller, are on the guest list ready to let Charlie have it...

Here's something to chew on. Comedy Central's Charlie Sheen Roast will air opposite the season premiere of "Two and a Half Men" on CBS with Charlie's replacement Ashton Kutcher joining the cast September 19th. Question is...Which draws more viewers?

Don't care. I'm not watching either one.

I'm guessing this will be awful and not funny....kind of like all the other "New Age" roasts.

That doesn't help, but I suppose I could watch Monday Night Raw, or Family Guy reruns.

1.How the hell are they going to tie Ashton Kutcher's ability (his only acting ability) to nimbly move about a yacht snapping pictures of the guests while rocking a sport jacket into the script of 2 and a half men?

2.This roast is going to suck if Emilio isn't there.

Raw featuring the return of CM Punk and the Ring of Honor "invasion" will have my attention.

Even though Ashton Kutcher was part of the successful cast on "That '70s Show", even Charlie doesn't think Ashton's addition gets "Two and a Half Men" back on track.

probably going to be a great roast, but seriously without greg it wont be epic. that guy was a good lawyer, an average comedian and an all-time great roaster. he is a legend and is greatly missed

Two and a Half Men will DESTROY it in the ratings.

You can't compare network TV to cable.

It's Tivo worthy, and fastforward worthy. The Donald Trump Roast was pretty disappointing. Gene Simmons was even worse. They've got a boatload of material for Sheen though.
