Which will probably be Darryl.

I think Dwight might get the job, because NBC is selling these:

Its still pretty good. Just because it isn't as good as it was doesn't mean it is bad.

This

Also, Parks and Rec, which is after, is pretty good.

It's really not that good any more but I can't help but watching it for the few times they get some of the old magic back. I'm looking forward to Michael being gone. He was played out on the show.

Good point, but the fact that you apparently like it most likely indicates that it's absolutely awful.

I still think they should have killed off Michael after he left the show, a la Colonel Blake from M*A*S*H.

It wil be the woman with the British accent who was one of the interviewees for the job.
Jo (Kathy Bates) asked Jim how he lliked her.
She told him that she was one of her best friends but not to let that fact influence the decision.

I may not have killed it right away, but it was never the same and went downhill quickly thereafter. Just because it was on for 7 more seasons doesn't mean it was good.
It was really bad most of the last three.

it didn't "kill" the show, though. i think some of the most inspired episodes came between seasons 2-6 but after 8 it was really running out of ideas.

bringing winchester in was a better move than hunnicutt. hunnicutt was way too sappy. losing trapper was a bad thing. but potter was a great character and sooner or later, frank was just a broken record.

i'm sure "the office" will stick around for a few more years, but it hasn't been good since season 4.

I agree about Winchester. He saved the show. David Ogden Stiers, Urbana High School grad.

BJ was awful. I could not stand his character. Mike Farrel couldn't act his was out of a paper bag.

I have never seen an episode of The Office, nor have I seen the movie.

i agree with you about hunnicutt. funny, that's my sister's favorite character.

there wasn't a movie for "the office"; it was based on the BBC show which was 2 seasons...which was just enough.

I thought there was a movie. I am so out of the loop. We reproduce a number of BritComs. Have the Brits ever done that with any of ours?

i think it can be argued that their "coupling" show came from our "friends" but it wasn't a direct "remake". and then we tried to copy "coupling" and it was immediately canceled.

I actually watched the British Coupling. I thought it was good. Our try at Coupling was awful.
I can't comment of the Friends angle, as I have never seen an episode of Friends.
I will go out on a limb and say Coupling was better than Friends.

You're thinking of "Office Space", Reason.

I also agree, BJ sucked.
