LOS ANGELES (KTLA) -- Will Charlie Sheen's character on "Two and a Half Men" be eliminated now that Ashton Kutcher is joining the hit CBS television show? That's the word from celebrity website TMZ, who cites sources connected to the CBS sitcom.

TMZ reports that series creator Chuck Lorre wants to make sure Charlie Sheen's character, Charlie Harper, is killed off making it impossible for him to ever return to the show.

Chuck Lorre The new season's first episode is slated to be filmed on August 5th and producers and writers are said to be coming up with scenarios for Harper's death. One of them reportedly involves Charlie Harper's driving his car over a cliff.

Meantime, TBS is denying reports that Sheen has signed a sitcom deal with the Lionsgate Television to play a character similar to the one he played on "Two and a Half Men."

"TBS is not in discussions for a possible project with Charlie Sheen," a spokesperson said in a statement.

The news about Sheen's character's demise on "Two and a Half Men" comes day after TMZ reported that the last of his two goddesses have moved out. Natalie Kenly reportedly moved out last week and Charlie is demanding that she return the pricey Mercedes Benz that he gave her.

its really weird to watch the first season of 2.5 men now, because charlie is sober and young looking. he destroyed himself the last few years especially. he went from early 30's to late 50's in a short time.

Not sleeping for a couple of years will get to you. Just look at CM Punk. Nothing more valuable than a good night sleep. Like the one I'm not getting tonight/this morning.
