where to begin...first, it's a "what about bob?" knockoff, which wasn't exactly an original story to begin with but at least it was funny.

second, this was exactly what sandler was PARODYING in "funny people" ("merman", "rewind")...

third, why is one of his kids indian?

fourth...i hope this is the last big sandler release ever. it's being released in the holiday season, and i highly doubt that families will want to go see this. while the "sandler generation" may be old enough to have kids by now, i think with the mediocre performance of "grown ups" and now this, he's probably lost them by now...and i hope this really, really fails.

"punch drunk love" isn't a "sandler movie" as much as it as a PT anderson movie. which means it's good, but it's pretentious and it's not as good as "boogie nights", which is my only measuring stick of a PT anderson movie.

how much $$$ is sandler worth these days? i would guess $250 million.

Thanks for the correction. Adam Sandler's got another new movie coming out near the end of this year, and Dan Patrick has a small role in that as well. It's called "Jack & Jill", which is tentatively scheduled for release November 11th in theaters. Based on what I've heard, Adam's supposed to show his feminine side, if you know what I mean...

IT'd be awesome if we could put a dent in the National Debt by selling Adam Sandler and his movies to China for 3 trill
