The ego has not been a fed in awhile, it is very very hungry.

I think many people meet Mike North for the first time and are amused by his personality at first, as most, or all, of the people they know have a real profession and his gig is basically being a clown. Which then turns to thoughts of "you gotta meet this guy" because as you get on in year, nobody you know is still such a goofball and if they are they are selling water bottles at an off ramp.

Quickly after the first meeting the gimmick wears off and you realize it is a guy you want nothing to do with.
