That about sums it up.

3 in Detroit. Super. Detroit has their 3 best going. The Sox have 3 pitchers starting. Two of three this weekend, and I might care enough to look up the starters for the KC series on Monday.

I'm guessing Detroit sweep.

Some fun facts about Detroit:

You have to go south to get to Canada
They have a football team, supposedly.
It's commonly referred to as Hockeytown, USA.

I think Adam Dunn's nickname should be:

Adam "Give Me One More Chance" Dunn

This series has the potential to render a whole lot of "all in" commercials and billboards obsolete.

Cabrera might miss a game or two, but it's always the Boeschs and Avilas that kill the Sox.

At least Travis Fryman isn't still playing.

Unknown pitchers and hitters have their way with this pathetic team.

The next 22 games are going to be a bitch, unfortunatley I'm looking at 7-15 during that stretch and the Oziie Guillen era ova

That was a real nice win knocking Verlander around like that and it was good to see Gavin finally get back in the win column. Teahen has actually been pretty decent in his starts at 3B this year.

I was more surprised that Gavin did well than I was at knocking Verlander around.

Quentin is 5 for his last 7. It sure would be nice to see him go on one of those hot streaks for the next couple weeks.

If he does and we keep doing what we did last night than watch out...

I no longer believe that the hot streak is a guarantee, but if this team starts playing to its potential than it is easily the best team in the division.

Did Peavy just say he and some other players were up all night, jammin? Maybe when you're getting paid $15 mil+ a season and haven't been able to stay healthy since joining the White Sox, you could keep the party lifestyle you're living on the DL.

Bacon left too early on a potential Balck Frenchman SF.

Another nice win and a much needed series victory. Edwin pitched great and Beckham had a big hit in the 9th. Humber going for the sweep tomorrow. Ozzie should run the same lineup out there again tomorrow.

What about Juan? he has been playing great of late, but the Bernstien sympathisers would never do that

He was very bad for a good stretch of the season. People who do not listen to Bernstein have noticed this, the reason for this being that he was terrible.

He has had some very good games and I hope he keeps it up. If he is able to steal bases, he will be worth much more to the team. I still think Viciedo would have a bigger impact than he would on this team. I am not the only one who thinks this either.

The Sox have looked like the team we have been expecting all year. I really really hope they keep this up. It is the perfect time to get hot.
