And wasn't there a couple big bombs from one guy from each side of the plate? And doesn't Soriano suck in Left? Didn't they only score one fucking run today? Hasn't Dempster been god fuckin awful all year? Why concentrate on Castro? Sure he made a fucked up play but why the hell does Quade stomp on castro so hard, and let's all the other shit go? I don't like this at all. There was no room for this bullshit. That's a manager who has melted down, not one that IS melting down.

I just thought this was poor goddamn form. And castro and barney had a bad day in the field but what the hell? They did not cause the Cubs to lose 60 of 99 games.

Sloth needs to be relieved of his position. This is very typical. Every veteran has basically told him to fuck off so he is now going to blow up on the kids that probably still somewhat listen to him. He needs to be gone now. The mutiny that he has driven them to is not going to help with their development. Quade and Riggens need to be fired right now. Let Listach finish it out. They will at least have a little more respect for someone who has actually played the game at the same level all of them are currently at. Let the minor league pitching coordinator take over for Riggens.....actually isn't Maddux somehow employed as a special assistant? I think the Rangers had a similar situation with Oscar Ocosta years back losing the pitchers and he took over the interim duties.

Bottom line....fire him immediately. This team is bad, was supposed to be bad and will be bad.....but he is making things far worse than they need to be.

He basically let it slip that there's no intensity and there's too much negativity.
This has gone on thru several managers mind you, almost this same exact team completely quit on lou, although I think Lou checked out himself in 08 but whatever. Lou was worse than we thought I think. These players have basically mutinied on two managers.
But it's clear that Quade has no control over this team. Dempster freaked out on him a few starts ago. You have a great point about picking on the kids because the vets are finished with him.

The one constant over the last ten years in this shit organization is Hendry. You cant fire Quade without firing the whole lot of 'em. They all must go. I don't even know if you keep any of the lower level guys. They have the taint of Hendry all over them. I know some of them are well respected but this team needs an enema.
