Artie Lange and Nick De Paulo. I have my inside sources. By inside sources I mean inside my head.

I watched a recent movie with Artie Lange: Beer League. I'm pretty sure he was dead through most of it.

Artie was strung out on heroin through most of Beer League.

I listened to some of Artie and Nick doing the Tony Bruno show last week. It wasn't bad.

I've always liked Artie and was hoping he'd go back to Stern. But, after hearing Howard rant this morning about not wanting any more drama on the show before he retires (he was talking about Jackie but you could tell he meant Artie also), that's not going to happen.

Arite Lange couldn't be funny even if he was drunk, on fire, and juggling Serbian midgets.

He's no Mully or Hanley, in my world, in the guffaw department - but I find Artie entertaining in the trainwreck genre.

Would James Harrison pee on him if he was on fire?

If he was on fire, I suspect it's because he is drunk, which means he would pee on himself. Make sense?

That would get him back on the Stern show, at least for a segment.

Or Artie could play Anal Ring Toss to get back on...

No, but depending on the midgets' age (individually, not aggregate), R Kelly might fell like playing 'fireman'.

it sucks that he's unable to recognize that this is the #1 problem with the current show

He said he's not filling the comedian position which leaves Robin as the person with whom he interacts. That's a boring duo.

He's basically admitted that he's mailing it in on this contract. He's cutting back to 3 shows/week, he's suing Sirius, he's not hiring anybody to add content to the show to replace Artie and instead relying on the "Wack-Packer du jour" (which is typically awful).

And, yet, with all that, it's still more entertaining than just about anything else on the radio.
