Exactly what it sounds like. We know that sitcoms, while there to make us laugh, were also there to provide more life lessons than every episode of ABC Afterschool Special combined. I'm not talking about the crap nowadays. I'm talking about back in the day when someone was hooked on caffeine pills, or dealing with racism, or getting bullied, or smoking crack (Willis). We know the league leader in very special episodes was the groundbreaking Diff'rent Strokes, complete with a litany of guest stars like Nancy Regan, Muhamman Ali, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Mr T. Every one of our favorite characters found comedic, and in many cases, not so comedic ways to deal with real life situations, in they were almost always all wrapped up in that 30 minute time slot (22 minutes with commercials). What say you, CSFMB? What was your favorite "Very Special Episode"?
