Hmm...an Italian guy bickering with a bunch of black guys on the hottest day of the year. If memory serves, this ends with a garbage can through a plate glass window...

So Big Deal. BigFan did basically ask what's the deal with all the balkness on MTV. MTV favors balk artists which has contributed to more dirt being tossed on Rock & Roll's grave. You guys want to take me to task for that,go ahead.

And Oh,Yeah...Get the Fuck out of my pizza joint.

I didn't see a problem with jimmys comments. Not sure about the Jewish ownership thing or why thats relevant, but it is true that MTV perpetuates the whole "young white suburban kids wanting to be inner-city cool" thing. I don't see how you can look at the station objectively and not think that.

And Oh,Yeah...Get the Fuck out of my pizza joint.

1)White people kind of stole the whole rock and roll thing
2)MTV hasn't been culturally relevant beyond shows like the Jersey Shore and the Challenge for a long time. They really aren't shaping people's music opinions anymore
3)Jazz Fusion

Rock & Roll has always been heavily influenced by black music. Without Jazz and similar genres you don't get most of the famous rock and rollers of the past.

Black people invented rock & roll.

Why does this have to be racial, James? I think it's just as bad that they have non-music related shows with white casts on MTV as well. Shouldn't that also be an issue? Black people aren't trying to ruin your TV watching experience, Jim Bo. I promise...

Yeah,I'm out of line but show me one young teen-age white pop artist who hasn't teamed up with some black rapper in a song to get instant street cred.
I have seen it so many times,it's a real joke. They think that legitimizes them for some reason. I don't hate rap music either, but not a big fan.

Why should it matter what race poeple are in terms of them teaming up to make music? That seems to really bother you. Should artists stick with their own races in you opinion?

All of the programming on MTV is worthless shit aimed at roided out meatheads and sluts.

What I like best is when its election time and they break out Gideon Yago to explain to their audience why they should vote Democrat.

Whoa,I never said I don't like blacks on TV (big fan of FRIENDS,CHEERS & SEINFELD). I am just stating that MTV patronizes black music stars and is heavily tilted that way.

I would hardly call most music these days "art". Let's just call everyone performers. Its more of a freak show/ strip show circus than art.

I think Jackie Evancho has avoided the dangers of rap music.

I disagree. I can't remember the last time I've seen a video on MTV. It just seems to bother you that music made by black artists sells very well in this country. White artists are very popular here too, Jimmy. I just don't see why you're having such a problem with any of this. Maybe there is something you're leaving out...

Your fishing in the wrong county. I have watched MTV since it's inception. It has tilted, that is fact.

Do you have any opinion on undesirables in Elmhurst?
that's really the big issue.

Um...not sure what the first part means so I can't respond.

As for the second part if you have determined something as fact, completely based on your opinion, then there is nothing to really talk about here....

Depends on what you're into, lots of music made everyday wouldn't fit that description
