It is quite apparent that we have all watched way too much television in our lifetimes. :P

I'll just go with the Brady Bunch goes to Hawaii and creeped out by Vincent Price and the voodoo necklace thingy.

There's potential with the Bradys

What about the episode where Greg starts smoking. Or when Deacon Jones taught Bobby that it was ok to be in choir and football. Or when Mr Brady and Al the Butcher played "Just the Tip"

That one Three's Company episode where there was a crazy misunderstanding (but it all worked out in the end).

----

It wasn't intended to be a special episode, but wasn't there an episode of Melrose Place where Kimberly wired the entire damn apartment complex and blew it sky high... and the episode had to be pulled (or delayed) because it was going to air the same week the Murrah building was destroyed?

I don't remember on Blossom, Six marrying Ross, but I do remember there being a special episode about Six maybe having sex and the guy was Zack, Mark Paul Gosslear. She didn't want too, so he kicked her out of the car.

On Melrose Place, that was there season finale when the building blew, that would be about mid to late May.

Don't know if it was the favorite, some of those Diffrent Strokes would have been good, but I will throw this one out, the show THe Hogan Family did an episode where they had a fire in the house, don't think it torched the whole house. When they go through it the end, Jason Bateman is going through the house and see that they have lost all their mom's pictures and breaks down, and I also remember they got Mcdonald's with the episode too, so Mcdonald's was giving fire tips out too.

Yes

The mom was the elevator operator at the place where Cousin Larry and Balki worked.

I refuse to believe this.

It's all too real...

Nobody makes sitcom spin-offs anymore. I guess that's a result of no actual shows and all reality tv...

I always thought Cousin Larry was giving it to Mrs. Winslow on the side. We know Mr. Winslow wasn't getting the job done.

There were a lot of episodes from this show that would likely qualify if you thought of it in
a broad sense. On the actual show I think Kevin gets drunk once and there was an episode
in which the Arnolds have an X-mas party and one of Jack's old buddies gets caught smoking
weed in the basement.

i meant to say something about this...that episode BC is referring to is the pilot episode. so right from the start, the show set its tone as more of a "dramedy" than a sitcom, although it did have some sitcommy storylines (the whole thing between kevin, winnie and becky slater in the early part of the series) but in a lot of the show, there was something more profound or deep to the episode, even if it was funny at times.

there was always a reflective element to the show that made it more than just a "comedy". it was truly a family show. adults could watch it remembering their own childhood and appreciate the adult narrative; kids could just relate to the things kevin was going through.
