While he is right, the earth moves making it seem like the sun is in a different place everyday and every minute! Wonder if Star or Bar corrected him on that?

Well he's wrong entirely.
The sun is in orbit around the center of the galaxy much like the Earth is in orbit around the sun.
Not to mention, the whole galaxy is in a cluster of galaxies called the Local Group that also orbit common centers of gravity... actually the local group is part of other groups called super clusters that also orbit each other... so quade is a dope.
