Punk has seemingly made his first non-WWE appearance in wrestling since he took the WWE Championship with him on his way out of the WWE. According to Jimmy Jacobs and the photo that accompanies this post, CM Punk cut a promo in-front of the AAW fans tonight. I’ll update this post as more news comes in, but for right now… It’s cool to see/hear.

Where will Punk show up next

Im loving this angle so far.

There is a show at one of the Joliet casinos Aug 6th. The New Age Outlaws and Traci Brooks ate scheduled to be there. Front row is 15 and general admission is 10. Beers are $1 for drafts. I'm planning on trying to attend this as its so close to the house.

Also I won't be able to go to Darksides party as I would have to stay the night up there and I have to sleep ay home that night as the wife has plans to stay downtown. That being said I could do the ROH show.

This sounds amazing. Hopefully the amateurs get as sweaty as the pros wen they are rolling around and hugging each other in their speedos.

Shouldn't you be taking a nap so you can stay up late to go out to some hipster club around midnight tonight?

Just admit you're still pissed about the plate.

I'm not but I can't speak for anyone else that lives in my house. :D

--Gregory Iron, who was referenced in the C.M. Punk interview last night at the AAW show in a 24-year-old independent wrestler who works a lot in Ohio and Illinois, even though he had cerebral palsy. He is very limited in what he can do with his right arm.

The local show is at the Cantigny VFW 826 Horseshoe Drive, just west of Rte. 30 and Raynor Ave. intersection on Balck Rd.

BS Report: @cmpunk on wrestling angles, entrance music, storytelling, SummerSlam & his future with WWE. grantland.com/podcasts

Bill Simmons sat down with Punk for about 45 minutes. Great stuff. Spoiler Alert below:

Punk says a bunch of great stuff about LCW. It was tough to take.

That was a really good listen.

Apparently it was Punk's idea to come back to headline SummerSlam.

I don't believe for a second that Punk and Vince hadn't made a deal prior to MITB. How would they have allowed the title to change hands if they hadn't already signed Punk?

Sure, they had a makeshift tournament the next night on RAW for the new title, but Punk would have marched around ROH or Impact with the "real belt" forever.

I agree.

Especially after how he was screwed with Hall and Nash back in the day.

Maybe he meant MITB was when he really was reinvigorated and knew it was the right decision.

Possibly. I also imagine he has to keep some aura of mystery around that storyline to keep the angle going.

Not sure how I feel about him going back to Cult of Personality permanently, though.

Been catching up on all the CM Punk/John Cena/HHH stuff that has been going on lately. I must say that Punk is quickly moving up my favorite wrestler list. His work lately has just been off the charts spectacular. And as much crap as Cena takes, he has played his part extremely well. Their match at MITB in Chicago was an instant classic. I love the move of having HHH take over control. I think good things are in store for the E in the coming months.

No way.

Every guy dreams of a woman who can do all the heavy lifting.

Especially in the boudoir.
