i've got a worse travesty...possibly the worst one yet: the remake of "straw dogs" is due out this september, i believe.

now i'm awaiting the "french connection", "chinatown", and "dirty harry" remakes.

i'm fairly certain "total recall" will suck because it'll lack the creativity of the original; and jesus christ, this was based on a short story. come up with your own fucking title and just re-adapt the story. dumbasses.

Next thing you know these assholes out in Hollywood will remake Troll 1 and 2

well. they ARE remaking "Troll", apparently. it's slated for a 2012 release, last I heard.

"troll 2" may have a sequel, actually. the director, fragasso, wants to make...brace yourselves..."Troll 2: Part 2".

Isn't there supposed to be a Red Dawn remake coming out later this year?

i think it could be "fun bad". it sort of has an "uncanny valley" quality to it, with the apes not being able to speak yet but have human-like eyes.
