David Feherty's show on Golf Channel is quite good.

He's devilishly screwy and has some cool guests.

The one with Watson was pretty sincere, and definitely showed a side of Feherty that many of us haven't seen before.

Even the McIlroy one was touching.

They showed David going to see his parents and he told a story about how his dad has dementia and is slipping towards Alzheimers.

Just a wonderful mix of emotions.

This is the one I saw. I need to DVR this show. Feherty has a wonderful blend of
self depricating humor, sincerity, and legit knowledge of the game and it's history.

I've heard some great things about David Feherty's new show, and he's also very entertaining whenever the CBS Sports/Golf Channel analyst talks it on "The Dan Patrick Show" from time to time. For those not aware, "Feherty" airs at 8p Tuesdays on DIRECTV 218 and gets rerun all week long. In fact, Golf Channel's airing a marathon coming up at 12Noon today, and there are plenty of cuts that ended up on the cutting room floor at golfchannel.com.

Feherty actually got a little slack from fans for talking about his battle with alcoholism. I'm amazed at how many people still believe that those who suffer from the addiction have "complete control" over their actions.

It's like they don't understand what an addiction really is.

I love it when people ask me why I didn't just stop on my own.
