Its assumed the Cubs are going to lose this series. Go Pirates.

Its going to be weird watching the entitled veteran battle the Cubs. The last time he did I believe he won a ring.

Some of my friends and I have been discussing this trip from Chicago for a while. I've heard it's a great park, and experience. I hope sudden success doesn't make the fans use pent up aggression.

Since Hendry has identified the Pirates as a team the Cubs should now aspire to, are Rickett's and Kenney, and a contingent of Cubs front office people making the trip to Pittsburgh? Just like Boston?

OH....hopefully next year the Cubs can turn things around. Just look at the Pirates!

God damn this fucking organization. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck!!

Go Pirates!! and I mean that.

Remember when many Cub fans actually argued that he was better than Pujols.

Much like two two previous posters, I don't remember anyone saying that.

Joe, you seem to do a lot of conversing with imaginary Cub fans. You might want to get that checked out.

That thought was all over the Cub and Cardinal boards on ESPN and CBS Sportsline. I was lambasted for suggesting that when the careers were in the books Konerko would be a far greater player than Lee. Here we are. There were many Cub fans posting shit about how Lee's defense vaulted him ahead of Pujols at the time. Now, I'm not sure of these posters were imaginary or not. They didn't have an IS0P that met so I can't be sure if they actually exist.

Maybe they were just playing a "character" on the internets and not being themselves. The internet brings out the stupid, you know. Just look at this place.

I did not "hear" anyone say Lee was better than Pujols.

I honestly thinks Quade goes some of these lineups to try and give Brenley a grabber

The Pirates lineup is kinda weird too. I thought McCutchen was more valuable where he can drive in runs as opposed to leading off. The entitled veteran and his .220 average are batting cleanup.

More like a Quade issue.

Didn't he face the Cubs shortly after being traded to the Braves?

The fact that they traded for Lee underscores how horrid their 1B play has been this year. I just looked at Overbay's numbers. Jeebus :pukel:

If you read whistler or cubbiegirls posts on here you will see plenty of stupid. No realistic and sober Cub fan ever thought Lee was better than Pujols.

CSN does not show his curtain call although they mentioned it on air. I would have loved too see it. D. Lee gave the Cubs all he had while he was here. Told Z to shut the fuck up. Now he is playing in another pennant race. Good for him. But if CSN would have shown it the whiny burrito ass players would have revolted.

Hells ya!! He should be good for 10 hits through 4 innings. He probably didn't know DLee enough to serve him up meatball pitches though.
