Just saw this today and enjoyed it but no new ground broken here. Alien movies have been beat to death and the story in this one is no different just the old west setting. Daniel Craig makes a OK cowboy but starting to wonder why his face is heavily smudged in every movie he is in. Must be trying to hide the fact he ain't that good looking (for a guy that has played 007,at least) Kind of like the male version of Lady GaGa,who will do anything to keep you from noticing her face. This movie had an excellent supporting cast. Harrison Ford does a good job as a tough rancher with a heart. Sam Waterston & Keith Carridine also were good. The female lead,Olivia Wilde, is starting to get some big roles. She has a weird hairline that makes me uncomfortable while trying to accept her as the next big thing. Maybe a Charlize Therron would have done more with this role. Olivia is kind of a blank slate. The movie is pretty gruesome for a PG-13 rating. Not too bad,but not for kids 12 & under. Overall,I give it 2.5 stars out of 5.

I saw it Friday.

I felt like act 2 was plodding along, but the climax was entertaining enough.

Daniel Craig is annoying, and has an odd shaped head however.

I'm guessing the game ended with Tony Romo throwing an interception to an alien.

Nope. Romo was about to shoot the king of the aliens but he bobbled the gun.

not a bad review. i walked out thinking 2.5 to 3 stars. i told my bride as we were leaving the movie. the plot was about nothing, but it was cool. 2 tickets for $10 bucks, not bad.

Maybe when he dropped his pants back at the Howard Johnson's,the wife said: "Whoa,Cowboy...Your one-eyed alien looks dormant. How 'bout we catch a movie instead?"

I was ready for this to be over 30 minutes into...wouldn't watch it again unless it popped up on FX or something while I was drunk at 1 in the morning...

Saw this tonight and found it entirely entertaining. It's summertime popcorn entertainment done well. I'd recommend it.
