As none of the pitchers at Peoria are anything special, I hope Ricketts went to Peoria to check out Matt Scissors (Szczur) and his 17 SB's in about 2/3 of a season. This was another Jim Hendry , let's give him more money so he doesnt play football)

Heard a guy on from Baseball Prospectus and his analysis was "He's nothing special".

The Cub farm system is nothing special. As a matter of fact it is bad. Real bad. But Tim Wilkens is a great talent scout. My ass. I can go to a HS game and tell you if a guy can play in 5 minutes.
