So there's a JK rule and a SH rule?

Shead wasn't arguing with you, he was pretty much just saying Williams is garbage

He implied I said something I did not...I think.

I dont use the JK thing. I understand that he wrote his name here and its his mistake and i understand why people still do it...just not my style.

 I'm pretty sure he was attributing his thoughts only to himself, I don't think he was trying to imply you said that

Not the best route runner. Which is what I always thought was the Martz system? and not sure he has the best hands?

Please prove me wrong.

So the Rams can get Sims-Walker? I would rather play for the Bears than Rams.

1 year, less than $1M, plus incentives. That speaks volumes.

Maybe we can all back off of the Sims-Walker love a little now, eh? 31 NFL GM's essentially didn't want him, even at a cheap price.....

edit:
Sam Hurd got 3 yrs/$5M. $1.3M signing bonus. Just sayin'...... Village of Rosemont.

I saw $3.7 million, but it was a short MSNBC blurb that could easily be wrong. Either way, I think the one year tells you everything you need to know there.

I won't know what to think about this until Elmhurst Steve chimes in. He wins 75%+ of his fantasy leagues, which we can all admit is pretty damn impressive.

Just under $1M is what they said on SC, but that could have been the guaranteed part? Or, maybe SC was wrong as they often are.

Wow that surprises me a great deal. I heard chatter of the Jags unhappiness with him but even if he was a certified prima Donna along the lines of TO his production/age clearly merit that. Must be more smoke than I realized there

Sidney Rice was my guy but I would have taken Sims-Walker over Williams. Clearly the rest of the league didn't feel the same way.

He was injured all last year and he was said to only be asking for a 1 year deal because he wants to show he can play and then cash in.

Well if he's using this as a one year tryout to show teams he can put up good numbers and not be a dickhead than it makes sense. Sam Bradford/Jay Cutler.....

I would go to the Bears for a 1 year "prove yourself tryout" not the rams

Don't piss on the Rams. That could be an easy division to win.

An interesting piece on how Roy Williams is replacing Knox on the field and Hester and Bennett continue to start with Knox possibly on the 2nd team. As a Packer fan there were 3 players that scared me on the Bears offense. G.reg, Knox and the disgruntled Forte.

I'm not that excited about Williams. He's OK but he's never been great. Although, I think either Williams or Hester or Knox will have their best season yet. I think there'll be a lot of run plays this year and short passes.

So many people downplay Knox. Meanwhile he had almost 1,000 yards recieving and is entering the year in which WR traditionally realize their potential.

I thought we would get to see Knox on the opposite side of Williams with Hester being the odd man out.

It's pre season. Chester Taylor is still #2 on the RB depth chart and Dane Sazenbacher is turning heads.

I got 10 bucks that says if Dane does anything in his first appearance Elmhurst Stupid is going to call 3 different radio shows to dub him Scooby as in Great Dane.

is Marmaduke too highbrow?

Rosencrantz or Guildenstern might get a chuckle from Bernstein

I have a really good feeling about this Bears offense. I think they can do some special things this year. I even believe the O-line will be a strength.

Let's not get crazy. I could get on board with serviceable. But a strength?

I bet I could pull up a nearly identical quote from you around the same time last year.

There is not a single offensive lineman who has earned any confidence to be placed in him at his current position.

Yes on Marmaduke. Rosen and Guilden are dead right?
