How you feel about fucking pregnant women? Just as gross, a little less gross?

I often find pregnant women to be incredibly sexy. No joke, if you are somewhat attractive you move up a couple notches around month 6 or 7.

Most men are very nice to pregnant women. As if we might explode or go into labor right there.

Then they are nice when you are done up but it's a differnt nice. As if we will open our shirts and show you our boobs.

Then not done up but still okay, you are polite, obeying the laws of a decent society.

You guys are horrible to not made up fat people.

Way too much fat chick chatter for the 'fitness' thread.

Pregnant isnt fat, most of the time it is just bigger belly and bigger boobs. The odd proportions are what make it interesting.

Hmmm, good point. Probably needs its own thread.

No I was fat when I was pregnant. Everything was about 2-3 times it's normal size.

Good luck. Weather is going to be great for August.

What's the strategy for running that?

came in at 1:53. I'm extremely happy with that time, for my first effort. Doing another half in two months, so at least I have a benchmark for that.

Didn't have much of a strategy, per se. Just tried to keep each mile around 9 minutes for the first 9-10 miles. Then, if I felt like I had enough energy, I increased my speed. Felt like I flew on the final 1.1 miles. Made me wonder how fast I could've gone. I was too scared of burning myself out early though.

your only strategy of any first race you run is simply to finish. it's good you had something left in the tank for the final mile. the first two marathons i ran, i did the same thing. it was too hot on the third one to have anything left. but if you keep it up, you will be able to know how much you can turn it on in the final miles--but it is the middle miles that you should make up the ground with, not the final ones. those are for letting off the gas pedal for the most part.

Exactly. My only 'strategy' was finishing in under two hours, which meant keeping roughly the same pace throughout. The one thing I did not want to do was burn out, mid-run. And screw Bret Michaels for canceling his post-race gig because of 'dehydration.' All in all, it was a great day.

I'm up 15 lbs since April. I weighed myself a couple days ago and was shocked. I know most of it is leg muscle since I've been riding so much. My BMI went from 23.5 to 25.5 but that could be from muscle. I ordered a body fat scale so I am curious where I am with that. Needless to say, I've cut out the desserts since I weighed myself. I know I am in great cardio shape so I might just have to adjust my diet a little.

Too much beer, barbecue and ice cream. :(

Gotta get back on the program.

Yeah I dragged my sorry ass to the gym last night and pushed out a 5K in 31 minutes. Not very
good but it is a start anyway. I am seriously looking at what I am eating as well. I think maybe
with my divorce and everything else I fell into some bad habits but I am going to snap out of it
and get serious. No one is going to want to date a fat ass.

But are you truly "fat" if you're pregnant? I mean, there's another lifeform gestating inside of your body with a technically-parasitical relationship siphoning off sustenance from the host-creature in play here, it's not as if you're just on the Morgan Spurlock 30 day diet or anything.

Always feel good to get into the swing of things. 4 straight days of no desserts and no late night snack has gotten me back in line.

No one is going to date a fat ass?? LOL- I saw a picture of the guy my ex marriaged and he is a complete fatass. I told a female colleague about that and how it made me laugh when I saw it. She told me the guy probably has a really big cock. Thanks Melissa.

Thanks DAC :D That is funny about your female friends comments. Now I have the fact that I don't
have a huge horse cock working against me as well.
