It's coming fast. RUN WHILE YOU STILL CAN!

What new shows is everyone thinking they might like?

And what are you looking forward to returning?

New Shows
For me Prime Suspect looks promising. The New Girl sounds pretty good. The Fox show Tetra can't remember second word sounds good.

Pan Am and the PLayboy Club sound really good.

Other than that some shows catch my eye but those are the 5 on my definite watch list.

Returning shows.

Castle interesting cliffhanger.

Bones but we won't see them until November when Emily for real and Brennan in character will be verrry pregnant.

I'm not looking forward to a Cuddy less House.

And really not looking forward to a Chris MEloni less Law and Order SVU.

Can't believe I left off Fringe and the Big Bang Theory on my can't wait to see again list.

Take me outside and make me watch an According to Jim Marathon hosted by Ronnie Woo Woo.

instead of watching primetime fall network tv, i think i'm going to castrate myself and sing nothing but barry white songs, which will be soooooo fucking ironic that i will be declared world's most hipster and then i can do that power rangers thing where i suddenly grow to being 10 stories tall and then i can rampage through the streets of chicago, which will ultimately end up with me walking out of city limits all the way to toyota park and taking a giant shit in the middle of that soccer field.

(sorry, i'm so with you on chris merloni, obviously!!)

Last season was god awful. This show has definitely jumped the shark.

I'm looking forward to Park and Rec, Fringe, Walking Dead, Boardwalk Empire.

I'm very, very interested to see if ABC can score big ratings with the updated version of "Charlie's Angels", much like CBS did this last fall with the updated version of "Hawaii Five-O". Even though I don't watch the two shows after it in "Grey's Anatomy" & "Private Practice", I've got to think having "Angels" in the leadoff spot at 7p Thursdays has to be a really good omen for the "alphabet network".

It'll be very interesting to say the least how Ashton Kutcher fares when "Two and a Half Men" returns to CBS after a turbulent season cut short by Charlie Sheen's stupidity and boorish behavior. Charlie's supposed to have a new show of his own, although I haven't heard if any network has signed on to carry the TV version of the 2003 Adam Sandler/Jack Nicholson comedy movie "Anger Management"...

I like this. You did forget Maude, Homeboys in Outer Space, and Teen Mom but I'll let it slide...

SHARK is telling me what I'm missing on Channel 26 The U, which is channel 18-something in HD on my Comcast system, whenever the Sox are on, so I figure I'll use the fall to check it out.

I really hope there are some Momma's Family and What's Happenin Now reruns on, too.

Actually, The U'z shifting "American Dad" reruns from Saturday nights to weeknights at 8:30p this September. WCIU 26 also has reruns of "Futurama" coming to Saturday nights and the short-lived Brad Garrett comedy "Til Death" starting next month.

If "U" tune into tonight's White Sox/Indians' game, "U" know "U" will be bombarded by "Seinfeld", "King of Queens" & "Dr. Phil" promos, as well as promos for sister channel WWME 23, better known as MeTV every 5 minutes or so. See what I did there?

Seriously? Til Death!!! That's fucking awesome!!!!

actually, it's terrible and if Brad Garrett never works again because of it, that is fine by me.

The 2 shows I agree with SjBoyd's list are King of Queens and Just the 10 of Us, liked those shows, still watch King of Queens on TBS.

I will agree on Mama's Family.

Have you read Tina Fey's book? I'm kind of suprised that she is a LOT like Liz Lemon.

Since we are a week in, what do we think of the new shows and the ones that returned.

CBS- not sure about 2 and a Half men yet, thought Hawaii 5-0 has some intresting storylines going, especially the end of the first one, may check out Unforgettable tonight.

NBC- Did watch Whitney and Prime Suspect, not too bad, so will watch again, and for The Shield fans, Lemansky (Clem) is the boyfriend of the main girl actor in Prime Suspect.

ABC- Only watch Modern Family and thought the opener was good and have to wait a couple weeks for Last Man Standing involving Tim Allen to see what it's like.

FOX- House is week away, I thought Family Guy would offer more funny stuff, but there wasn't much, just Peter trying to jump in the money didn't work. Simpsons looked good and not a bad start for the Cleveland show.
